Project of the Week

Pine Shaker Table Built with Hand Tools

by WoodpeckerGrouchy516 on r/BeginnerWoodWorking

This inspiring build started with a simple goal: tune up an heirloom No. 4 plane to fix a swollen door. Six months later, this woodworker has created a beautiful pine Shaker table using nothing but hand tools—Harbor Freight chisels, a flea market Stanley No. 5, Spear & Jackson saws, and shop-made jigs.

Proof that you don't need a fully-stocked shop to create beautiful furniture. The journey from fixing a door to building furniture is something many of us can relate to.
