Just finished this bookshelf for my niece’s 1st birthday. My sister/BIL asked for a West Elm dupe (last pic) with a little extra flair. What they meant was “make the curves a bit more dramatic”, but what I heard was “make the bookshelf you wish you had as a kid.”

have some more sheets of 4x8 ply on the way and I'm fed up of storing them on the floor. I've got horizontal racking for the good stuff, but I wanted somewhere for offcuts, sheets and 2x4's, etc

For so long I wanted to learn woodworking, but was intimated by the dangerous tools and feared I didn’t have the physical strength to do it. A few months ago, I made the leap to take a class and it has been a rewarding experience. Everyone in the community is so kind, encouraging, and helpful!
